A high-altitude trekking peak expedition through the quieter Hinku Valley, with glacier travel training and a summit from High Camp.

Kathmandu to Lukla
Time: 3–4 hrDistance: 7 km
Fly to Lukla and begin the quieter approach away from the main Everest trail.

Hinku approach
Time: 5–7 hrDistance: 12 km
Several steady trekking days through forest, yak pasture and remote lodges.

Acclimatisation
Time: 3–4 hrDistance: 4 km
Rest and short climbs near Khare before checking glacier equipment.

Mera La
Time: 5–6 hrDistance: 7 km
Move onto snow and cross toward Mera La with rope travel practice.

High Camp

Climb to the high camp with huge views toward Everest, Lhotse and Makalu.

Long glacier ascent to 6,476 m, then descend to Khare.
