1. Who we are

Peak Atlas is an online discovery and booking platform for guided mountain summits, day hikes and multi-day treks. Support and legal enquiries: nikita88W@icloud.com.

Peak Atlas acts as a booking agent. Every expedition listed on this site is operated by an independent, locally licensed guide service or mountain agency (the "Operator"). Peak Atlas does not guide, transport or supervise participants.

2. What a booking means

When you submit a booking request you enter into a travel contract with the Operator of that expedition. Peak Atlas facilitates the request, the deposit payment and the communication between you and the Operator.

A booking is confirmed only once the Operator has accepted your dates and group place, and you have received a written confirmation. Availability shown on the site, including the number of spots left, is indicative until confirmed.

3. Prices, deposits and payments

Prices are shown in euros per person and reflect the Operator's official rate. We do not add a markup to the published price.

Unless stated otherwise on the expedition page, a deposit is collected at the time of booking to secure your place; the balance is paid to the Operator before or at the start of the trip.

Park fees, permits, insurance, flights and personal equipment are included only where the expedition page explicitly says so.

4. Your responsibilities

Mountaineering, glacier travel and high-altitude trekking carry inherent risks, including altitude illness, rockfall, weather exposure and injury. You must book a route that matches your fitness, experience and medical condition, and follow the Operator's safety instructions at all times.

You are responsible for valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations and adequate travel and mountain-rescue insurance covering the maximum altitude of your route.

The Operator or lead guide may change or abandon an itinerary, or exclude a participant, where safety requires it.

5. Accuracy of listings

Itineraries, altitudes, distances, daily walking times, seasons and Operator contact details are published in good faith and may change. Always confirm the final details in writing with the Operator before travelling.

The Peak Atlas assistant provides general information only. It is not a substitute for professional guiding, medical or safety advice.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Peak Atlas is not liable for the performance, acts or omissions of an Operator, nor for injury, loss or damage arising during an expedition. Claims relating to the delivery of a trip are made against the Operator.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud.

7. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, resell or republish our listings, submit false booking requests, or use the site to harass Operators or other travellers.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Peak Atlas is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
