1. Controller and contact

Peak Atlas is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy request, write to nikita88W@icloud.com and we will reply within 30 days.

2. What we collect

Booking and enquiry data: your name, email address, the expedition and departure date you chose, group size, the price quoted, your message and the site language you used.

Partner applications: company name, contact name, email, website and the routes you operate.

Assistant conversations: the questions you type into the Peak Atlas assistant, so we can generate an answer.

Technical data: basic request and error logs needed to keep the site secure and working.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

To send your booking or message to the relevant guide service and to answer you — performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

To assess partner applications — legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps.

To keep records required for accounting and to prevent misuse — legal obligation and legitimate interest.

4. Who we share it with

The guide service operating the expedition you requested, so they can confirm your place. They act as an independent controller for their own booking records.

Service providers who host the site, store our booking records and generate assistant answers, acting on our instructions.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. International transfers

Guide services are local businesses and may be outside the EEA (for example in Tanzania, Nepal, Peru, Morocco or Georgia). Where we send your booking details to them, the transfer is necessary to perform the booking you requested.

6. How long we keep it

Booking and enquiry records are kept for up to 5 years for accounting and dispute purposes. Partner applications are kept for up to 2 years. Assistant conversations are not linked to your name and are retained only briefly for abuse prevention.

7. Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email nikita88W@icloud.com. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

8. Cookies and local storage

We store your chosen site language in your browser so the site opens in the right language. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
