Momella Gate to Miriakamba
Time: 4–5 hr
Walk through forest and savannah with buffalo and giraffe.

Time: 3–4 hr
Steady climb, optional detour to Little Meru.

Summit and descent
Time: 10–12 hr
Midnight start along the crater rim to Socialist Peak at sunrise.

Descend to Momella Gate and transfer to Arusha.
